Hi, I'm Christiana. I've been a wish-to-be (because wannabe sounds too harsh) writer for all my life. Words and the way we string them together have fascinated me forever. Here you'll find me writing about anything--current events, short stories, music, people, poems, nature, philosophy--anything my imagination may find the words for. I appreciate you reading my ramblings and connecting with me here. 

Speaking of connecting, here's the deeper story. I was born and raised in Missouri, so my heart and personality are very Midwestern. My first two years of college were spent at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. While Waco will always hold a special place in my heart for many reasons (my first published work, genuine friends, my partner, and a change of scenery), I returned to Missouri to finish my degree at Southeast Missouri State University. After graduating, I taught 9th grade English at a rural Missouri school for one year. As such, I'm a recovering teacher and people-pleaser. I currently daydream in Saint Louis with my partner and two dogs.
